Spring & Summer Events Archive 2007

Many Brothers and their wives enjoyed an excellent evening at the Smugglers Wheel , Boreham St - thanks to Douglas and Margaret Ramsey organising this event.

Ladies coffee morning at President Goodman's home raised £154 for President's Charity - a splendid result. However, as the amount so far raised for the SVP is somewhat low, the Circle has approved that all the money raised this year by the Christmas card appeal goes to the local conference of the SVP

15th July - 24 went to Storrington – would have won the visitors cup!

19th July – 5 played in the Provincial Golf at Worthing. Well done Bill Dolan who won by a large margin.

20th July – Golf Tournament at the Royal Eastbourne GC the match was followed by a very enjoyable dinner in the evening. Bro John Hunt beat Bro Bernard on a count back.

21st July – The Viennese Ball organised by Crawley Circle to recognise that one of their brothers: Philip Gidman was now Grand president, 190 attended this prestige event.

29th July – Tea Party – Very well attended and we enjoyed sunny weather, many thanks to Bro David.£272 was raised for FHLIP. PICTURES
